Alloys for converters

Si-C alloy is a new type of alloy for converters, generally called silicon carbon alloy, also called high carbon silicon. It can replace ferrosilicon, silicon carbide, and carburizer, reduce the amount of deoxidizer, and be used in converter smelting deoxidation alloying process. The effect is stable, and the chemical composition, mechanical properties and internal control quality of the steel are better than those of traditional processes.
