High carbon ferrosilicon is a silicon carbon alloy whose main chemical components include silicon (Si) and carbon (C), and may also contain small amounts of aluminum (Al), calcium (Ca), sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P).

Silicon (Si) content: Usually between 65%-68%, the specific content varies depending on the model. For example, the high carbon ferrosilicon model SiCFe 68 has a silicon content of 68%.
Carbon (C) content: Generally around 18%, which is one of the important characteristics of high carbon ferrosilicon.
Other elements:
The content of aluminum (Al) and calcium (Ca) usually does not exceed 1.5%.
The content of sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) is low, generally controlled below 0.05%.
Physical form: High carbon ferrosilicon can be made into different sizes according to demand, such as 0-3mm, 3-10mm, 10-50mm, or customized into silicon-carbon alloy balls (such as 50*50mm) and powders.
Application features: High carbon ferrosilicon is used as a deoxidizer and carburizer in steelmaking, which can significantly reduce production costs, improve molten steel quality, and reduce the amount of alloy added.
