China's Long March Series Rockets Set A New Record: Manned Moon Landing Around 2030!

Aug 22, 2022

On August 20, the Long March 2D carrier rocket successfully launched the remote sensing 35-04 satellites with one arrow and three stars, marking the 103 consecutive successful launches of China's Long March series of carrier rockets, breaking the previous record of 102. And it only took 2 years and 3 months.

This is the 62nd flight of the Changerding rocket, and the launch success rate is 100%.

At the same time, the Aerospace Science and Technology (000901) Group revealed that my country is currently developing a new generation of manned launch vehicles and heavy launch vehicles (the legendary Long March 9), which will undertake manned moon landing, Mars exploration, Jupiter exploration, asteroid exploration in the future detection tasks.

Among them, a new generation of manned launch vehicles will have the ability to send Chinese people to the moon around 2030.

The Moon Transfer Orbit launch capacity of the heavy launch vehicle will be increased to 50 tons to support lunar development activities.

In addition, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group is accelerating the research and development of reusable launch vehicle technology. The current planning of a series of reusable space transportation systems development work will greatly improve my country's ability to enter space, reduce the cost of entering space, and help the future of space transportation develop.
