Silicon slag si65 is an equal amount of external silicon slag produced in the production process of metal silicon products, also known as industrial silicon slag, metal silicon slag, and also divided into silicon slag for casting and silicon slag for steelmaking. The main chemical element of silicon slag is silicon, with a content of 45% to 70%. The rest contains trace amounts of C, S, P, Al, SiO2, Fe, Ca, etc. As a special product, silicon slag si65 (the equivalent amount of silicon) is much cheaper than metal silicon, but there are many industrial applications similar to metal silicon.
Application
Steelmaking: Used as a deoxidizer to remove oxygen from molten steel, improving quality.
Ferroalloy Production: Acts as a cost-effective silicon source in making ferrosilicon alloys.
Foundry Industry: Helps in casting improvement by enhancing fluidity and reducing porosity.
Other Uses: Sometimes used in chemical industries or as a refining agent.
