Self-introduction of ferro silicon

1. Ferro silicon: It is an iron alloy composed of iron and silicon. Ferro silicon alloy is a silicide such as Fe2Si, Fe5Si3, FeSi, FeSi2 formed by silicon and iron, and is also the main component of ferro silicon.

2. Raw materials: Ferro silicon is an iron-silicon alloy made by smelting in an electric furnace using coke, steel scraps, quartz (or silica) as raw materials. 

3. Uses: Ferro silicon is often used as a deoxidizer and alloying agent in the steelmaking industry, and is often used as a heating agent for steel ingot caps to improve the quality and recovery rate of steel ingots; it is used as an inoculant and spheroidizer in the cast iron industry; in addition, high-silicon ferro silicon (or siliceous alloy) is a commonly used reducing agent in the production of low-carbon ferroalloys in the ferroalloy industry.
