The transaction price of silicon metal rose slightly

Last week, the quotations of metal silicon factories continued to rise, but downstream factories and traders were not very enthusiastic in purchasing. Only some orders for rigid needs were released in the market, and there were few "low-level" stockpiles.

At present, the transaction price of low-grade silicon metal is rising slowly, mainly because the polysilicon factory just needs a small amount of orders, and some mills take orders to purchase silicon metal. Metal silicon 553#, 551#, 521#, 621#, 441# and other grades were more active in the market, and the transaction price increased by 200-600 RMB from last week.

Affected by the changes in the current economic situation and the reduction of some terminal consumption, coupled with the general decline in commodity prices, many upstream and downstream metal silicon still lack confidence in the continued and sharp rise in prices, and the organic silicon market price has begun to maintain stability after a week of rise. There is little support for the consumption and price of chemical-grade metal silicon.
