Therefore, using low-priced alloys for pre-deoxidation and ensuring that the quality of molten steel is not negatively affected has become one of the issues for reducing production costs in converter steelmaking. Through careful analysis of various alloys with deoxidation ability, it is found that ferro silicon has the advantages of low price, high deoxidation ability, and fast deoxidation product floating. Therefore, the deoxidation experiment research was carried out by using ferro silicon instead of aluminum and iron.
