Strive for youth and let your dreams fly! On the morning of June 10, the launching ceremony of the torch relay for the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu Universiade") was held at Peking University.

On the square in front of the Centennial Lecture Hall of Peking University, 31 college, middle and primary school students and representatives of international students from Peking University, Sichuan University, Peking University Affiliated Middle School, Peking University Affiliated Primary School and other schools sang the theme promotion song of the Chengdu Universiade "Love is the same" ", opened the prelude to the launching ceremony.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, the ceremony officially began. Eight Tinder guards acted as flag bearers to escort the national flag of the People's Republic of China and the FISU Federation flag into the venue, and the national anthem of the People's Republic of China and the FISU Federation anthem were played on the spot.

Huai Jinpeng, chairman of the Chengdu Universiade Organizing Committee and Minister of Education, said in his speech that the torch relay is an important official event of the Universiade and an important carrier to spread the concept of the Universiade and carry forward the spirit of the Universiade. The torch relay played the wonderful prologue of the Chengdu Universiade, displayed the confidence of the Chinese nation, and condensed the dreams of young people around the world.
