Metallic silicon is not considered a dangerous good.
Metallic silicon is also called crystalline silicon or industrial silicon. Its main use is as an additive for non-ferrous alloys. Metallic silicon is a product smelted from quartz and coke in an electric furnace. The content of the main component silicon is about 98% (in recent years, silicon with a content of 99.99% is also included in metallic silicon), and the remaining impurities are iron, aluminum, calcium, etc.
Metallic silicon is not typically classified as a dangerous good under most international regulations, such as the UN Dangerous Goods (DG) List, IMDG Code (shipping), or DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations (transport).

Non-Reactive: Metallic silicon is generally stable under normal conditions and does not pose significant flammability, toxicity, or reactivity risks.
Dust Hazard: In powder or fine particulate form, silicon dust can be combustible and may pose a dust explosion risk in high concentrations (similar to other metal powders). Proper dust control measures are recommended.
Chemical Reactions: While bulk silicon is inert, it can react with strong oxidizers (e.g., halogens) or strong acids/alkalis under certain conditions, releasing hydrogen gas (flammable).
