The Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China began in Beijing on the afternoon of the 26th. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee, delivered a work report to the plenary session on behalf of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. The plenary session will review the reform plan of the party and state institutions (draft), the proposed list of leaders of state institutions to be recommended by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee to the First Session of the Fourteenth National People's Congress, and the leaders of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to be recommended to the First Session of the Fourteenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference List of candidate suggestions.
