1. What exactly is its "core role"?

In the past, steelmaking relied heavily on ferrosilicon and manganese silicon, but these two "old hands" are unpredictable-not only are they subject to fluctuations in upstream resource prices, but they are also particularly "delicate" during smelting; too much or too little steel, too high or too low a temperature, and the composition can easily deviate.
The advantage of silicon carbon alloy lies in its "computing power": it can calculate the amount of deoxidizer added more precisely, resulting in a more stable steel composition. Most importantly, it can "slim down" steelmaking costs, helping steel mills earn more profit in the fierce price war.
3. Where is it "born"?
Currently, the main domestic production capacity is concentrated in the Anyang area of Henan Province, where a mature industrial chain from production to supply has been formed, making it a "regular" supplier for many steel mills.
4. How far can it go in the future?
As steel mills become increasingly eager to reduce costs and increase efficiency, silicon carbon alloys are transforming from a "substitute" to a "mainstay." Besides traditional construction steel, it is also beginning to appear in high-end steel fields such as automotive steel sheets, aerospace heat-resistant components, and power facilities, and its application scope continues to expand.
