The overall national security concept is an ideological system that is rich in content, open and inclusive, and constantly developing. Its core essence can be summarized as five major elements and five pairs of relationships.


On April 15, 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over the first meeting of the Central National Security Commission.
