Head Of State Diplomacy Conveys China's Voice At The Beginning Of The Year

At the beginning of 2023, President Xi Jinping will start a new diplomatic agenda: on January 4, he will hold talks with Philippine President Marcos; on January 6, he will hold talks with Turkmenistan President Sherdar Berdymukhamedov.
Philippine President Marcos is the first foreign leader received by China this year. This visit is President Marcos' first visit to China after taking office, and China is also his first official visit outside ASEAN. It can be seen that both sides attach importance to this visit.
During the talks, the two heads of state had a long and in-depth communication, reached a new consensus on the future development of China-Philippines relations, made strategic guidance, and agreed to jointly open a new chapter of China-Philippines comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship and be good neighbors who help each other , good relatives who know each other well, and good partners who cooperate and win-win, push bilateral relations to new heights.
Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdymukhamedov also visited China for the first time after taking office.
The past year was an important year in the development process of China and Turkey. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully held, drawing a grand blueprint for comprehensively building a modern socialist country; the presidential election of Turkmenistan was successfully held, and a new president took office, formulating a new outline for national economic and social development.
During the talks, the two sides spoke highly of the fruitful achievements in cooperation and development in various fields since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 31 years ago. They agreed that the relationship between the two countries has entered a new stage of comprehensive development, and jointly announced that the relationship between the two countries will be upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
"China is willing to work with Turkey to continue to deepen China-Turkey all-round cooperation, promote the building of a community with a shared future between China and Turkey, and advance bilateral relations to a higher level," President Xi Jinping said.
At the beginning of the new year, President Xi Jinping and the visiting presidents of the two countries talked about friendship, mutual trust, and cooperation, based on a new starting point, and charted a new future. Under the guidance of head-of-state diplomacy, major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics will continue to achieve new and greater achievements in the new year.
