China Winter Olympics

   In the winter of 2022, we will welcome the Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing, China. I am very happy that the two mascots of the Olympic Games, "Bing Dun Dun" and "Xue Rong Rong", will come to our side.

   Bing Dun Dun has a friendly and cute image, and is very naive. It is deeply loved by people from all over the world, especially young people from all over the world. The "ice" in the name of Bing Dun Dun symbolizes purity and strength, and "ice" is also a feature of the Winter Olympics. Dundun means honest, healthy, lively and lovely. The design of Bing Dun Dun is modern and fashionable, showing the world the rich forms of Chinese civilization, the connotation of wisdom, and the colorful styles.

   The image of Xuelongrong comes from lanterns. Lanterns have distinctive Chinese cultural characteristics and have a long history of 2,000 years. They are recognized as "Chinese symbols" in the world. They are the perfect combination of the joyful and festive atmosphere and the beautiful meaning of "Rui Xue Zhao Feng Nian". Snow, symbolizing whiteness and beauty, is the characteristic of ice and snow sports. Tolerance means tolerance, tolerance, exchange and mutual learning. Fusion means fusion, warmth, and mutual understanding. Rong Rong expressed the concept of exchanges and mutual learning among world civilizations and harmonious development, and embodied the beautiful vision of creating a more inclusive world and building a community with a shared future for mankind through the Paralympic Movement.

    The Olympic spirit is worthy of our promotion. The Olympic Games is an important culture of ours. I sincerely hope that the Olympic spirit will live on in the world forever and bring peace, joy, prosperity and hope to the world!
