12 Shots Fired! Silent Step! Tribute To Volunteer Martyrs

On the morning of September 17, the cemetery for the Martyrs of Resisting U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea in Shenyang, the blue sky was like washing, and the pines and cypresses were like silence. The burial ceremony for the remains of the ninth batch of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea was held here. 88 volunteer soldiers who died fighting for their country in foreign countries rested in peace on the land of the motherland.

At 10:00, the military band played the "Song of Missing", and the ceremony officially began. Under the escort of soldiers of the People's Liberation Army with guns, the soldiers of honor escorted the coffins of the volunteer martyrs slowly into the scene, and the whole audience played and sang the national anthem.

All the staff bowed three times to the volunteer martyrs, and 27 salute soldiers fired 12 shots to pay high tribute to the martyrs.

As the "Song of Missing" played again, the soldiers of honor lifted the coffins of the volunteer martyrs, circled the square for half a circle, and slowly walked towards the underground palace of burial. The audience stared at the coffins of the martyrs, silently saying goodbye to the heroes, and then lined up in long lines to pay tribute to the martyrs and pay their respects to the Martyrs' Wall of Fame.
