**Application Scenarios**
In the steelmaking industry, ferro silicon serves primarily as a deoxidizer and an alloying agent. During steelmaking, it reacts with oxygen in the molten steel to form silicon dioxide, thereby reducing oxygen content and enhancing steel quality. Simultaneously, when added as an alloying element, it improves the steel's strength, hardness, and wear resistance. In the iron casting industry, ferro silicon is commonly used as an inoculant and a nodulizing agent. Adding ferro silicon inoculants refines the microstructure and properties of the cast iron, thereby improving the mechanical performance and machinability of the castings.
